Treatment consists of 7 hours of group treatment each week, daily attendance at 12-Step meetings and one hour of individual counseling each month to address and update the client's treatment plan. This phase of treatment can last from 30-90 days.
Occupational therapy is offered to clients during both intensive and supportive levels of treatment. Specific training is offered in budgeting, anger management, conflict resolution, grief and loss, workplace issues and calendar/time management.
After successful completion of treatment, clients are referred for additional supportive treatment available through the Gulf Coast Center. Ideally, total time in treatment will equal 9 months.
